Mr Gustave Niyonizigiye was recently elected President of the Fédération Burundaise de Boxe.
"I am confident that those elections took place in full compliance with your Federation's constitution and that all officers were duly and respectfully elected. I am very happy that Burundi has a new leader to further enhance boxing programs in the country and I look very much forward to meeting with you in the near future", stated AIBA President, Dr Ching-Kuo Wu, in his congratulatory letter.
